A new 2 storey residential house located in a safe, private subdivision. A peaceful & God fearing family who owns it going about their daily lives. Everything seem to be perfect until......

Here in the Philippines, a tropical country near the equator with daytime temperatures averaging 35° C. weather here is hot during daytime and if your roofing is made of metal, then you surely will have to put an insulating material under it to minimize the heat going inside.

Unfortunately, even with metal roofs with insulating materials installed it is still not enough to reduce the heat going inside. this is the problem of the family. they told me even at 9:00 AM (PH time), you would feel uneasy inside the house and how much more where the master's bedroom is located.

So they contacted RVM Roofing Services located in Cebu City, Philippines and inquired about their problem with emphasis on cost.

Roof Oversheeting using Onduline Roofings. we will not take out the existing roofs instead we will put metal furrings as secondary framing then put the Onduline Roofings on top.

Project has been done and family's findings is that their house is much cooler than before.
